This quaint cafe is perfect for anyone looking to have a comfortable, home-like feel while ordering and occupying this cute space. Whether you’re a college student looking for a study pick-me-up or on your way to work and are looking for a quick snack, this coffee shop is the best place to stop. While Coffeecito can be seen as only being popular for being new, there are many other reasons why this coffee hot spot is always poppin’ with a line of customers out of the door.

Quaint, Yet Spacious

This 19th-century Victorian-styled, house-turned-cafe has a quaint feel when you walk up the stairs and into the door to order. When you walk into this cute coffee shop, the spacious, charming style and earthy colors give the shop a calm, serene feel that makes it feel like home. The interior has modern architecture with glass banisters and calm green and cream paint. While the outside may look vintage, the inside is just the opposite. The decor also consists of Latino artwork and sarape decor, which compliments the bright neon sign shaped with the Coffeecito brand name shining for customers to see.

Coffecito’s Latin roots are not only reflected in the name, but also in the menu and food they serve. Unlike other cafes and coffee shops, Coffeecito House offers an entrance to the world of Latin-fused food and drinks through its diverse item names and ingredients. Cafe Latte Espresso with carefully steamed milk to create a beautifully silky textured drink. On the Coffee and Expresso menu, you can pick from the various options of Cold Brew, Americano, Drip Coffee, Espresso, CortadOAT, Cortado, Espresso Macchiato, and Latte Macchiato. If you’re going for a calm or energized mood, the Tea and Energy menu is perfect for you. There you can find the drinks of HorCHAIta (Horchata and Chai tea fusion), Machito (Matcha), Sweet Cartagena (Energy), and Cucuy (Energy Tea). All of these drinks offer delicious flavors and a window into Mexican culture, as well as the beverages part of that. Other parts of the menu, such as the Non-Caff/Kids and Limited Food menus offer other cultural food and drinks such as their Churizo burrito, Enchilada bowl, Fajita Beef burrito, Horejitas, Concha Cupcake, and Poppito. When you order from this minority-owned business, you are not only ordering from a great menu but from a culturally diverse one with strong roots in Latino culture. Their limited menu may seem small and like it gives you little choice, but while limited, the menu gives its customers a sense of convenience and a strong view of quality over quantity; something this cafe has succeeded in.

Many of the most popular and interesting items on Coffecito’s menu can be located on their specialty menu at the door and online. One is their Churro Oat Latte, a great blend of rich espresso, caramel sauce, and sweet cinnamon, topped with creamy oat milk and a dusting of fried churro dust. Another, is their Frosted OATmeal Cookie Latte, a tasty drink with a mix of real brown sugar, vanilla, and oat milk, tastily topped with creamy vanilla cold foam. The menu includes the Mazapan Latte, Toasted White Mocha Latte, Dulce de Leche Latte, Cinnamon Caramel Cream Cold Brew, and Creme Brulee Latte. Coffeecito is open Monday to Friday from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, Saturday from 8 am to 2 pm, and closed on Sundays. It is located in the heart of the city at 3882 12th St, Riverside, CA 92501.
