Tropicaleiza Dance + Drum Co, founded in 2006 and directed by Julie simon is a non-profit organization dedicated to empowering women through movement, music, and compelling storytelling.
Join us for an inspiring evening of dancing drumming and storytelling as we raise funds to Ignite a Global Sisterhood!
We are excited to announce that we will be representing the City of Riverside in Erlangen Germany at their Annual Caribbean Carnaval February 10, 2024. This is a wonderful opportunity to foster the relationship between the sister cities of Riverside and Erlangen.
In addition to representing the City of Riverside, during our stay in Erlangen, we are partnering with local universities and women’s groups to provide immersive and interactive workshops dedicated to empowering women.
Our goal is to create a global community of women and strengthen the bond between these aptly named sister cities.
Your contribution of any amount will go towards programming and travel costs. Together we know we can empower women and girls through dancing and drumming and reinforce the bond between sisters across the globe.
